What will you do?

As a Steel Construction Sales Engineer at Willems in Boven-Leeuwen, you combine technical expertise with commercial acumen. You translate client enquiries into feasible steel construction solutions and compelling quotations. From the very first enquiry, you contribute ideas regarding the design, costs and implementation.

You will liaise with customers and identify their needs and technical requirements.
You will carry out cost estimates and cost calculations, and draw up technical and commercial proposals.
You request quotations from suppliers and assess them on the basis of price, quality and suitability.
You’ll contribute ideas on material choices, implementation methods and smarter solutions.
You will develop ideas from a technical perspective, from the initial sketch through to preliminary engineering. As part of this, the aim is to work more in 3D using Tekla Structures or Autodesk Inventor.
Depending on the project, you will also be responsible for work planning and project supervision, enabling you to oversee projects from the initial enquiry right through to completion.
You liaise with the engineering and work planning teams and the department manager, and ensure that everything runs smoothly during implementation.

At Willems, you’ll be working on large steel structures within a growing steel department. Together with a professional and close-knit team, you’ll turn a client’s request into a tangible project you can be proud of.

A salary of between €4,008 and €5,368 per month.
40 days off per year: 27 days’ holiday and 13 ADV days.
