What will you do?

As a New-Build Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility, from start to finish, for organising, coordinating and supervising new-build projects for river cruise ships at De Gerlien van Tiem in Druten. You will manage the new-build foremen and oversee safety, quality and scheduling. Whilst you will not be working on board yourself, you will act as the link between the construction team, suppliers, clients and senior management.

Monitoring the overall progress and day-to-day coordination of new-build projects
Managing, supervising and holding new-build foremen to account, including a clear division of responsibilities
Co-ordinating work between the planning department, the operations team, suppliers and subcontractors
Checking that work is carried out in accordance with drawings, work instructions and agreements
Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, deviations, risks and additional work
Actively maintaining contact with clients and other external parties
Ensuring safe working practices, order, tidiness and compliance with safety regulations
