What will you do?

As a Dock Worker, you will assist the Dock Mechanic with maintenance, repair and docking work on impressive inland waterway vessels. You will carry out general assistance tasks in and around the dock and help to ensure that work is carried out safely, tidily and efficiently at our shipyard in Druten.

Assisting the Dock Mechanic with maintenance, repair and docking work on ships
Assisting with the drying out and righting of ships in the dry dock
Assisting with the replacement of propellers and the installation and removal of propeller shafts and rudders
Carrying out general manual labour and odd jobs on and around the dock and on ships in the dock
Carrying out daily maintenance work on the shipyard and in the docks
Work in accordance with work instructions and safety regulations, and report any deviations in good time

Salary between €2,820 and €3,580 gross per month
40 days off per year
