What will you do?

As a Dock Mechanic, you will carry out technical maintenance, repair and assembly work independently on ships moored in our dock. You will be given every opportunity to apply your technical expertise to a variety of mechanical and hydraulic challenges at our shipyard in Druten.

Assembly, dismantling, replacement and adjustment of technical components and systems
Identifying technical faults and anomalies, and contributing ideas for practical solutions
Carrying out maintenance, repair and fitting work on a wide range of inland waterway vessels
Working on the basis of technical drawings, work instructions and quality requirements
Working safely and professionally with hand tools and power tools
Identifying and reporting missing materials or technical problems to the foreman in good time

What do you get?

Salary between €3,420 and €4,261 gross per month
38 days off per year
Every Friday, work until 3.00 pm
