Draughtsman, Safety Service

What will you do?

As a Construction Fire Prevention Planning Officer, you ensure that projects are prepared down to the last detail, both technically and organisationally. You translate working drawings and project requirements into a workable plan and oversee projects to ensure they are carried out safely, efficiently and within the agreed timeframe and budget.

  • You check working drawings and translate project requirements into a practical, workable plan.
  • You will draw up cost-effective estimates and quotations.
  • You will purchase materials and coordinate subcontractors.
  • You draw up project plans and monitor progress and costs.
  • You will liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • You will carry out quality control checks and fire safety inspections on site.
  • You identify discrepancies and ensure appropriate solutions are put in place.
