What will you do?

As a concrete pump operator at Gebr. Van Antwerpen, you’ll work independently on a wide range of construction projects. You’ll be responsible for safely setting up and operating the concrete pump, and ensuring that the concrete is placed exactly where it’s needed. You’ll be in regular contact with site supervisors, concrete mixer drivers and the planning team. You’ll also keep your machine in top condition by cleaning it daily and carrying out minor maintenance. No two days are the same, and you’ll be given a great deal of freedom and responsibility.

Operating and controlling a modern concrete pump
Assembling, commissioning and operating the machine safely on site
Pumping concrete on a wide range of construction projects
Working with site supervisors, concrete mixer drivers and concrete-pouring teams
Daily cleaning, refuelling and inspection of the concrete pump
Carrying out minor maintenance and identifying technical faults
Keep in touch with the planning team regarding progress and follow-up tasks
Working independently with a great deal of responsibility and freedom

What do you get?

Salary between €3,100 and €3,850 per month
On average €700 to €800 net per month in allowances, on top of your salary
A fully funded training programme to become a concrete pump operator
The option to Category C driving licence to be achieved through the case

Work part-time or full-time (32–40 hours)
