For this position, we are looking for someone who is ready for a new

What will you do?

As a concrete pump operator at Faber, you’ll work on exciting construction projects at a different site every day. You’ll set off independently with your own well-maintained concrete pump and ensure that the concrete is pumped safely and to the correct location.

  • Operate the concrete pump and ensure the work is carried out safely and tidily.
  • Work with the contractor to determine where the concrete pump can be safely positioned.
  • Maintaining an overview on the building site and ensuring that the work runs smoothly.
  • Acting as an intermediary between the concrete supplier and the party that processes the concrete.
  • Maintain daily contact with colleagues in the planning department.
  • Working independently whilst collaborating with colleagues and clients on the building site.

What do you get?

  • A salary of between €50,000 and €60,000 per annum on a full-time basis, including a realistic allowance for overtime and holiday pay.
  • A 5-day working week outdoors, with the option to work 4 days.
  • A 7-month contract with the prospect of a permanent position
  • An in-house training programme to become a concrete pump operator and the opportunity to obtain your full driving licence and qualifications.
  • Workwear, PPE and an allowance for telephone and laundry costs.
  • Free at the weekend, during the Christmas holidays and during the summer school holidays.

What do you bring?

  • You work neatly and independently, and you’re happy to start your working day early.
  • You’re driven, practical and confident on the building site.
  • You must hold at least a Category B driving licence.
  • A Category C driving licence and a VCA certificate are a bonus, but not essential: Faber can arrange and pay for these on your behalf.
  • You are customer-focused and able to keep on top of things even in a fast-paced working environment.
  • You enjoy working independently, but you also work well as part of a team.
