AA Accountant

What will you do?

In this role, you are much more than just an accountant. You act as a sparring partner for business owners, helping them with key financial, tax and strategic issues. You combine professional expertise with advisory skills and build long-term relationships with clients in the SME sector. You’ll also be given plenty of scope to develop your career towards a role with greater responsibility and influence within the organisation.

  • Reviewing and assessing annual accounts and files
  • Discussing financial results with business owners
  • Turning figures into practical and strategic advice
  • Advising on business operations, structure and tax matters
  • Maintaining and developing customer relationships within the SME sector
  • Working with tax specialists and corporate finance specialists
  • Monitoring the quality of case files and services
  • Building up your own client portfolio

  • A gross monthly salary of between €6,058 and €8,276
  • A working week of 24 to 40 hours

What do you bring?

  • You have completed an AA or RA course, or you are in the final stages of your studies
  • Experience in an accountancy practice
  • An interest in consultancy and customer contact
  • An interest in tax and business management issues
  • Experience with or an interest in SMEs
  • An analytical and enterprising mindset
  • Good communication skills
  • The ambition to progress to a strategic or managerial role
